Pre-conditions meeting with the CEA

This Monday 4th of June 2018, we met the different actors of our red wire project like the different teachers involved, the managers of our school and the representative of the CEA, Mr Philippe GIRONES.

We mainly presented our mechanical conception. In order to do this, we started by presenting how our system works and the different parts it's made of (motors, gear reducers, arms...). Then, we displayed a little 3D animation made on CATIA showing how our system crosses a step and a pit. Finally, we introduced the different models with each their overall dimensions and which of these models we chose and the reasons why. We presented a draft of the different electronic cards and sensors that we wanted to implant in our mobile base.

The presentation was followed by a set of questions from the teachers and Mr Girones where we had to defend our system. This day ended with a 20 min meeting with only Mr Girones and our group where we asked him various questions about our conception, the sensors and the nuclear field.
